Clara Bauerle & Bella in the Wych Elm

In 2013, a newspaper article in The Independent suggested that Bella in the Wych Elm could be Clara Bauerle, German cabaret singer and mistress of Josef Jakobs.

Given Clara's connection with Josef,  I have spent a fair bit of time researching Clara Bauerle and the Bella case.
